This established and highly regarded Autistic school in West London, is seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join their team.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), supporting them to develop effective communication skills and maximise their potential. You will work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other professionals to provide a holistic approach to the care and education of our students.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with a current HCPC registration
  • Previous experience of working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of a range of therapeutic approaches, such as PECS, Makaton and Social Stories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the school and its student
