An opportunity has become available for a Teaching Assistant to join this wonderful SEN secondary school for pupils with SEMH needs. The school offers tailor made pathways for their students who may have struggled with mainstream education and will have an opportunity to return to mainstream education through these pathways. The students receive a tailored curriculum and the ideal Teaching Assistant will need to support and encourage students in meeting expectations set by the class teacher.

The school believes that outstanding education comes from quality first teaching and the successful Teaching Assistant will be expected to support the class teacher as well as the students and will be supported by the senior leadership team in order to meet the needs of each student. The Teaching Assistant the school is seeking will need to use their experience to ensure the students are receiving the best possible support and it will be a key skill to be able to manage the behaviour of the students in your classes.
