This Secondary school provides an education for students with various SEMH needs who found that mainstream education was a challenge. Their bespoke curriculum provides pupils opportunities and pathways to achieve their academic potential and help them succeed in their goals beyond education and even help them return to mainstream education. As a result, Teaching Assistants can mould the curriculum to fit every student’s individual needs and guide them on their paths to success.

The school caters to key stages 3 and 4 students with classes taking the “home room” approach to the classroom, where students are taught by the same teacher and teaching assistant. As a result, classes contain around 4-8 students to insure individual support. The Successful Teaching Assistant will be supported by a supportive leadership team and the school has high expectations for its students and are extremely committed to supporting their students.
