There is a wonderful secondary school in the London borough of Croydon that are
seeking a HLTA on a full-time basis. The school is seeking a HLTA that is able
to transition smoothly into the school using their prior experience to hit the
ground running. The school has been rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and therefor there
will be a high expectation set for the successful HLTA as the school aims for an
outstanding rating. The ideal HLTA should have secondary school experience and
is able to demonstrate good practice.
The school is co educational for students aged in between 11 and 16 years and
is based in the heart of Croydon. They pride themselves on the diverse and
harmonious community within the school and the fact the students feel safe and
cared for. The role of the HLTA will be to support SEN students and deliver
lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
