There is a vacancy for a Head of Music in a wonderful school based in the Borough of Brent, the successful Head of Music will be leading the department and will join a highly committed team providing distinction in education for the students attending the school. The school encourages the young people to become strong role models and the leaders of tomorrow. The ideal Head of Music will be expected to deliver high-quality, and engaging Music lessons that drive success and inspire a passion of learning that extends beyond the classroom. You will have support from the leadership team and will be expected to be involved in curriculum layout and implementation.

The successful Head of Music will set high expectations so that the students feel inspired to reach their potential and to meet progress targets. You will also be expected to contribute to the curriculum and schemes of work to ensure that all students are working to a high standard.

As the Head of Music you will need to Identify areas of improvement, as this is key to the role so that you can provide feedback to the students, staff and parents to allow students to best progress.
