We are keen to hear from an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist wanting to work with SEN children and make a real impact in their development. A new specialist SEN School are looking for an Occupational Therapist to work with their students from ages 4-18. The Occupational Therapist will be supporting children and young adults with complex needs and diagnoses including ASD, ADHD and social, emotional and mental health difficulties.

This SEN school will require the successful Occupational Therapist to hold a recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as well as plan, resource & prepare effective and engaging therapy programmes for pupils across their primary and secondary divisions.


A key duty for the Occupational Therapist is to support the assessment of pupils to determine those in need of additional occupational therapy and if the individual is in need, to create interventions – referring pupils for 1-1 or group interventions with either a direct or in-direct approach. The successful Occupational Therapist will also plan, lead and deliver whole-staff OT-specific training, according to individual knowledge/experience.
