An exciting opportunity has just opened for an IT Teacher at a truly unique and inspiring specialist school for deaf children, located in the heart of Haringey. This is a long-term or permanent position starting in September 2025, ideal for a passionate teacher who is eager to make a meaningful impact in a specialist setting.

The ideal IT Teacher will have a genuine interest in working with deaf students and be committed to delivering a creative and accessible IT curriculum tailored to meet their individual needs. Experience working with students who are deaf or have additional learning needs is desirable, but not essential—what matters most is a strong understanding of inclusive education and a willingness to engage with British Sign Language. The role does not include delivering the curriculum via sign language as that will be translated by a BSL specialist who will work alongside the successful candidate. The ideal IT Teacher will be expected to foster positive, supportive relationships with students to help them progress both academically and personally.
