A well-regarded SEN school in Redhill, Surrey is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to lead their SLCN (Speech, Language and Communication Needs) class. The students in this class present with a range of communication difficulties and benefit from targeted, specialist support. The successful SEN Teacher must hold QTS (or an equivalent qualification) and have evidence of relevant in-service training.

As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to students in Years 2 to 6, many of whom have Autism, PDA, and social communication challenges. You’ll play a vital role in developing and delivering a curriculum that meets the individual needs of your pupils, fostering both their academic and personal growth.

This SEN Teacher position involves contributing to EHC Plans, PEPs, and LAC reviews, as well as monitoring and assessing student progress. A broad teaching knowledge, alongside a solid understanding of safeguarding and child protection, is essential.
