Job Description

Are you passionate about helping pupils with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties achieve independence, confidence, and communication through exceptional English provision?

Can you bring creativity, patience, and leadership to a role that supports every child to thrive in a safe, happy learning environment?

-Immediate start available

-Leadership opportunities with training & mentoring

-Competitive pay

-Help shape reading, writing, and communication programmes that make a real difference

We’re looking for a dedicated HLTA to join Landon School. In this role, you will plan and deliver small-group and one-to-one English interventions, support teachers by delivering high-quality lessons, and monitor pupil progress in line with their EHCPs. You will be working closely with teachers, therapists, and school leaders to adapt learning for individual needs, while modelling best practice for support staff and helping to develop engaging resources. Alongside supporting literacy and communication, you will help maintain classroom structure and inclusion, while also promoting emotional well-being, confidence, and positive behaviour.

Experience working with pupils with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties, or related needs is highly desirable. More importantly, you will bring empathy, adaptability, and a belief in the potential of every child.

If you’re ready to lead, inspire, and help shape education in a school where every voice matters, we’d love to hear from you. Apply today!
