We’re looking for a dedicated HLTA to join Landon School.
In this role, you will plan and deliver small-group and one-to-one English
interventions, support teachers by delivering high-quality lessons, and monitor
pupil progress in line with their EHCPs. You will be working closely with teachers,
therapists, and school leaders to adapt learning for individual needs, while
modelling best practice for support staff and helping to develop engaging
resources. Alongside supporting literacy and communication, you will help
maintain classroom structure and inclusion, while also promoting emotional
well-being, confidence, and positive behaviour.
Experience working with pupils with Autism, Severe
Learning Difficulties, or related needs is highly desirable. More importantly,
you will bring empathy, adaptability, and a belief in the potential of every
child.
