Job Description

Are you a dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting young people with autism, anxiety, or social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH)?

Do you have the empathy, patience and creativity to help students overcome barriers, build confidence and thrive in a therapeutic learning environment?

- Immediate start available
- Generous welcome bonus
- Small class sizes and strong pastoral support
- Excellent training and career development within a leading specialist trust

This position offers an immediate start at a therapeutic SEN school that provides a nurturing and structured setting for pupils aged 7–19 with a range of needs including autism, anxiety and SEMH. You’ll be joining a compassionate, collaborative team that helps children who have struggled to engage in mainstream education and help them rebuild confidence and develop essential life skills.

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff to deliver personalised learning and emotional support. You’ll assist in lessons, provide one-to-one and small-group support, help students regulate their emotions and encourage positive engagement in the classroom. Your empathy, calmness and adaptability will play a vital role in helping each young person progress both academically and emotionally.

Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs is required and you will need to be able to bring patience, dedication and a genuine passion for helping students thrive.

If you’re ready to make a difference and join a team that never gives up on any child, apply today to become part of this inspiring and supportive environment.
