We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist school in the Southwark area. The school provides tailored education for children and young people with Autism and a range of additional learning needs, offering a supportive and inclusive environment where staff work collaboratively to ensure that every student achieves their full potential.


As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative, individualised lessons that meet the needs of pupils with diverse learning profiles. You will work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to implement strategies that encourage independence, engagement and academic progress. Your role will also involve promoting positive behaviour, fostering social and emotional development and ensuring a safe and nurturing classroom environment.

 

To be successful, you should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and bring experience of working with children with SEN, ideally within a specialist or inclusive school setting. Strong communication, adaptability and a genuine commitment to supporting young people with additional needs are essential.
