We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in the Walton on the Hill area. The school supports children and young people with a range of special educational needs, providing a structured, inclusive and supportive setting where staff work closely together to help pupils achieve their full potential.


As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils within the classroom and on a 1:1 or small-group basis, helping them access learning activities tailored to their individual needs. You will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to promote engagement, independence and positive behaviour, while supporting pupils’ social, emotional and academic development in a safe and nurturing environment.


To be successful, you should have experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN or inclusive setting. Strong communication skills, adaptability and a genuine commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs are essential.
