Job Description

Are you an experienced Art Teacher passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs?

Do you have the creativity and adaptability to deliver engaging, meaningful Art lessons where every student can express themselves and thrive?

- Full-time Art Teacher role starting ASAP

- Long-term to permanent opportunity

- Supportive specialist SEN school environment

- Excellent opportunities for professional growth

We are seeking a dedicated Art Teacher to join a specialist SEN provision in the Ealing area. The school supports young people with complex learning needs and autism, offering a creative, nurturing environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, communication and self-expression through a personalised curriculum.

As the Art Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated Art lessons tailored to meet a range of individual needs. You will support pupils in developing creative skills, independence and self-esteem while working closely with support staff and the wider SEN team to ensure each learner can access the curriculum in a meaningful way. The role also involves promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, inclusive learning environment.

To be successful, you should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have relevant teaching experience in Art. Experience working within an SEN or inclusive setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, creativity and a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs are essential.

If you are ready to make a positive impact through creativity and education, apply today and take the next step in your teaching career.
