Job Description

Are you an experienced KS2 teacher passionate about supporting children with special educational needs?

Do you have the skills and dedication to create a nurturing, inclusive classroom where every pupil can thrive?

-Full-time, permanent KS2 SEN Teacher role starting ASAP
-Supportive specialist SEN school environment
-Competitive salary
-Excellent opportunities for professional growth

We are seeking a dedicated KS2 SEN Teacher to join a specialist primary SEN provision supporting deaf pupils. The school offers a collaborative environment where teaching staff work closely with specialist colleagues, including BSL-proficient staff, to ensure all pupils can access learning and communication effectively.

As a KS2 SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils’ individual needs. You will work alongside support staff and specialist practitioners to support communication, engagement and academic progress. The role also involves promoting positive behaviour, supporting social and emotional development and maintaining a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

To be successful, you should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience working with children with SEN at primary level. Experience working with deaf pupils or an interest in developing communication skills is desirable but not essential, as specialist support will be available. Strong teamwork, flexibility and a genuine commitment to inclusive education are essential.

If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in a specialist SEN setting, apply today and take the next step in your teaching career.
