We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary SEN school in the Surrey area. The school supports children with autism and additional learning needs, providing a calm, structured and nurturing environment where staff work closely together to support each child’s development.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils within the classroom and on a 1:1 or small-group basis, helping them access learning activities tailored to their individual needs. You will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to support communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour, while encouraging independence and engagement in learning.

To be successful, you should have experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN or early years setting. A patient, flexible approach, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to supporting children with additional needs are essential.
