Job Description

Do you have the patience, resilience and dedication to help create a nurturing, engaging classroom environment where every pupil can thrive?

- Full-time SEN Teaching Assistant roles starting ASAP

- Long-term and permanent opportunities available

We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join specialist provisions. The schools support pupils with autism, social, emotional and mental health needs, and additional learning difficulties, providing structured and therapeutic environments where staff work collaboratively to support both academic progress and personal development.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them access differentiated learning activities tailored to their individual needs. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider SEN team to promote engagement, positive behaviour and independence. The role also involves supporting pupils’ social and emotional development, assisting with personalised learning plans and contributing to a safe and consistent classroom environment.

To be successful, you should have experience working with children or young people with SEN, ideally within a specialist or inclusive setting. Strong communication skills, adaptability and a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for pupils with additional needs are essential.

If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in SEN education, apply today and take the next step in your career.
