Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding new role?

Do you want to make a genuine difference in a specialist setting that prioritises therapeutic support and student wellbeing?

If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

This specialist provision supports students with a range of additional needs, with a particular focus on social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH), alongside associated learning difficulties including Autism. The school offers a structured and nurturing environment where strong relationships and consistency help students re-engage with their learning.

They are looking to appoint an SEN Teacher who can deliver a flexible and engaging curriculum, while supporting students’ academic development as well as their emotional resilience and social skills. The role is available from September (or sooner) on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful SEN Teacher will plan and deliver differentiated lessons to small groups of students who may present with complex behaviours and barriers to learning. This role would suit a teacher with experience in either mainstream or specialist settings, who is confident in managing behaviour positively and building trust with students.

The school adopts a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach, ensuring each student feels safe, understood, and supported. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists and pastoral staff, to provide a holistic learning experience tailored to individual needs.
