We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in the Croydon area. The school supports young people with autism and social, emotional and mental health needs, providing a structured and therapeutic environment where communication and wellbeing are central to learning.

As a Speech and Language Therapist Assistant, you will support the delivery of speech and language interventions under the guidance of a qualified therapist. You will work closely with teaching staff and the wider SEN team to implement communication strategies, support pupils with speech, language and social communication needs, and help students access learning effectively. The role also involves assisting with programmes, monitoring progress and contributing to a consistent, supportive communication environment.

To be successful, you should have experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly those with speech, language and communication needs. Experience in a school or therapeutic setting is desirable. Strong communication skills, patience and a genuine commitment to supporting young people are essential.

If you are ready to make a meaningful impact supporting communication and development in SEN education, apply today and take the next step in your career.
