This special school in South London has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant. The setting caters for young people aged 4–19 with MLD, SLD, ASD and additional complex needs. The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support students on a full time permanent basis from September.

The school is looking to appoint a patient, resilient and caring individual who has experience supporting students on both a 1:1 basis and within small groups. The successful candidate will be confident in adapting learning activities, promoting independence and supporting students with their communication, social and emotional development.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have experience working with students with special educational needs, including Autism and will be committed to creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Experience supporting students with personal care, sensory needs or challenging behaviours would be highly advantageous.
