Job Description

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs?

Do you have the patience, empathy and dedication to help create a nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive?

- Full-time Primary SEN Teaching Assistant role
- Long-term and permanent opportunities
- Supportive specialist SEN school environment
- Excellent opportunities for professional growth

We are seeking a dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in the Hounslow area. The school supports children with a range of additional needs, including autism, communication difficulties and learning challenges, providing a structured and nurturing environment where staff work collaboratively to support each pupil's development.

As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them access tailored learning activities suited to their individual needs. You will work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to promote engagement, positive behaviour and independence, while supporting pupils’ social and emotional development within a safe and consistent classroom environment.

To be successful, you should have experience working with children or young people with SEN, ideally within a primary or specialist setting. Experience supporting pupils with autism, communication needs or learning difficulties is desirable. Strong communication skills, resilience and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils are essential.

If you are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with additional needs, apply today and take the next step in your career.
