Job Description

Are you a confident and dependable Cover Supervisor looking for flexible work in South London?

Would you like the option to choose between day-to-day supply and longer-term opportunities in welcoming secondary schools?

- Flexible Daily Supply, Short-Term and Long-Term Roles
- September 2026 Starts and Ongoing Opportunities
- Right to Work in the UK Essential
- Competitive Daily Rates

Education 365 is partnering with a growing number of secondary schools across South London ahead of the new academic year, with Cover Supervisor vacancies expected to open from the beginning of September onwards.

Martin at Education 365 is currently covering Secondary School and Post-16 opportunities across Lambeth, Southwark, Wandsworth, Merton, Sutton, Croydon, Bromley and Bexley, so there will be a good range of locations and settings available depending on where you are based and how far you are happy to travel.

We would love to hear from friendly, reliable and confident Cover Supervisors who are open to flexible work. This could be occasional daily supply, a few days each week, or a longer-term and ongoing placement within one school or college.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will support students by delivering pre-planned lessons, keeping pupils focused and creating a calm and positive classroom environment while the usual teacher is away.

These roles can be a great fit for experienced Cover Supervisors, graduates considering a future in teaching, experienced Teaching Assistants, or anyone with strong secondary school or Post-16 classroom experience.

We are looking for people who enjoy working with young people, can build positive relationships and feel comfortable managing a classroom across a range of subjects. A valid Right to Work in the UK is essential.

With schools beginning to recruit from September onwards, we are speaking with candidates now so we can understand your availability, preferred boroughs and the type of work that suits you best.

If you are looking for flexible Secondary or Post-16 work across South London, please apply today or reach out directly to Martin at Education 365 for a friendly and informal conversation about the opportunities available.
