Education 365 is currently supporting a friendly secondary school in Croydon with Cover Supervisor requirements from September onwards.

The school is keen to hear from reliable and personable individuals who enjoy working with young people and can step confidently into the classroom when teaching staff are absent. Opportunities may range from day-to-day cover through to longer-term and ongoing placements, depending on your availability and the needs of the school.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, keeping students engaged with their work and helping to maintain a calm, positive and respectful classroom environment across KS3 and KS4.

This role could suit an experienced Cover Supervisor, a graduate considering a future in teaching, an experienced Teaching Assistant, or someone with strong secondary school classroom experience who is looking for more responsibility.

The school offers a supportive environment where staff work closely together and students are encouraged to stay focused, confident and engaged in their learning.

Applicants should have strong communication and behaviour management skills, a positive attitude and a genuine interest in supporting young people. A valid Right to Work in the UK is essential.
