Education 365 is currently partnering with a number of secondary schools across Southwark, with Teaching Assistant vacancies expected to open from September onwards.

As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you may work closely with teachers and wider support teams across KS3 and KS4, supporting students within the classroom, working with individuals or small groups, and helping pupils who need a little extra encouragement to stay engaged and make progress.

Schools are particularly interested in versatile candidates who are comfortable supporting students with a range of abilities and needs. Previous experience working with SEN students, including pupils with needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties, would be highly welcomed.

Graduates are encouraged to apply, particularly those considering a future career in teaching, psychology, education or another profession working with young people. However, being a graduate is not essential, and candidates with strong relevant school, SEN, youth work or support experience are equally welcomed.
