Job Description

Are you an enthusiastic English Teacher ready for an exciting new opportunity from January?

Would you enjoy joining a welcoming and successful secondary school in Bromley that values high-quality teaching, strong relationships and helping every student reach their full potential?

- Outer London MPS/UPS
- On-Site Parking
- Supportive and Collaborative English Department
- Excellent CPD and Development Opportunities

Martin at Education365 is partnering with a well-regarded secondary school in Bromley to recruit a passionate and skilled English Teacher to join their team from January 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys bringing English to life in the classroom and would like to join a supportive school with high aspirations for both its students and staff.

The successful English Teacher will join a friendly and collaborative department where colleagues share ideas, support one another and work together to help students achieve their best. The school has a positive and inclusive atmosphere, with a strong focus on academic progress, personal development and creating an environment where students feel valued, challenged and supported.

The role will involve teaching English across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5, planning engaging and purposeful lessons, monitoring pupil progress and contributing positively to the wider English department.

Experience teaching Media Studies would be an advantage, although this is not essential. There may also be additional leadership opportunities available for suitable candidates.

Applications are welcomed from experienced English Teachers as well as teachers looking for the right environment to continue developing their career. QTS and a relevant degree are required, alongside strong classroom practice, a passion for English and the ability to build positive relationships with students.

If you are an English Teacher looking for a supportive school where you can enjoy your teaching, continue developing professionally and make a meaningful difference to young people, we would love to hear from you.

Please apply today or contact Martin at Education365 to find out more about this English Teacher opportunity in Bromley.
