Martin at Education 365 is delighted to be partnering with a
welcoming secondary school in Bexley to find an enthusiastic and dedicated
Science Teacher for a rewarding permanent opportunity.
We would love to hear from knowledgeable, approachable
teachers who bring warmth and enthusiasm to the classroom, make pupils feel
comfortable asking questions and genuinely enjoy helping young people discover
what they are capable of.
As a Science Teacher, you will teach Biology, Chemistry and
Physics across Key Stages 3 and 4, bringing lessons to life through engaging
activities, practical experiments and clear, thoughtful explanations. You will
encourage curiosity, adapt your teaching to individual learning needs and help
pupils develop the confidence and skills to succeed.
Beyond the classroom, there is a fantastic opportunity to
lead a Key Stage, help develop creative schemes of work and work alongside a
supportive Science team to make learning enjoyable, challenging and inclusive.
You will also have the chance to share ideas, support colleagues and play an
important part in developing the wider Science curriculum.
The school would love to meet qualified teachers with a
relevant degree, QTS and at least three years of teaching experience. Strong
Science subject knowledge, particularly in Physics, with experience teaching
across KS3–KS5 and a good understanding of GCSE and A-level requirements, is
essential. Confident classroom management, a positive approach to teaching and
experience mentoring or supporting colleagues are also highly valued.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 32.5-hour
working week and an Outer London salary of £37,928–£56,217 per annum, plus TLR.
You will be joining a collaborative school community that values professional
development and offers opportunities to grow, contribute your ideas and develop
your leadership experience.
Applicants should be approachable, organised and committed
to inclusive education, positive behaviour and safeguarding. An enhanced DBS
check and the right to work in the UK will be required.
If you are looking for a rewarding Science Teacher
opportunity where you can inspire young minds, develop your career and become
part of a supportive school community, please apply here today or contact
Martin at Education 365 for a friendly, informal conversation about the role.
