> Opportunities to Deliver Sports-Based Activities

We are looking for a Sports Teaching Assistant to work within an alternative provision setting in South West London. The role would suit an enthusiastic, resilient and adaptable individual with a passion for sport, who can use physical activity to build positive relationships, encourage engagement and support young people with additional behavioural and emotional needs.

The ideal Sports Teaching Assistant will have experience working with young people who display challenging behaviour and may struggle to engage in mainstream education. The successful Sports Teaching Assistant will support students both in the classroom and through sports-based activities, helping to develop their confidence, teamwork, communication skills and emotional regulation.

Students attending the provision may have experienced difficulties in mainstream education and require a more personalised and nurturing approach to learning. The school aims to provide a structured, supportive environment where students can re-engage with education, develop positive behaviours and work towards achieving their full potential. As such, the successful Sports Teaching Assistant will need to be patient, proactive and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

If this sounds like a role that would suit you, please apply today!
