You will be responsible for the student’s wellbeing and your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of supporting schoolwork under the supervision of the teacher. You will also be responsible of encouraging children's confidence, self-esteem and independence and recognising signs of distress in children and offering reassurance.

This special need’s school follows a therapeutic humanistic approach to education. The schools aim is to ensure vulnerable young students are accessing full time education by focusing on their emotional development. This school recognises that education can be a major source of stress and anxiety for some students, so they make it a priority to support and approach these students in different ways.

The school focuses on developing student’s unique qualities and weaknesses to insure achievement.  The curriculum is thoroughly planned and designed to enable all pupils to develop their personal characteristics, attitudes and values, to their fullest potential. The school has 3 goals, reacting to needs for each individual student. Offering opportunity and assistance to both the student and the family as a unit.
