We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Student Mentor to join an SEMH school in the Bromley area. The role will include supporting students with their learning, as well as mentoring students who are disengaged with their education and need extra care to develop their learning. The school caters for students from key stages 2-4, so would suit a Student Mentor that has prior experience working within primary or secondary education.

As a Student Mentor you will be responsible for supporting and mentoring students with social, emotional and mental health needs, as well as some with ASD. The school aims to ensure that vulnerable children stay within an educational setting and have an excellent team of staff that deliver a tailored and vibrant curriculum to the young people.

The successful Student Mentor will need to have a flexible approach to providing an accessible and truly inclusive education that meets the complex needs of each student. As a Student Mentor you will play a proactive role in positive behaviour management as well as encouraging learners to engage with lessons and activities.
