We are recruiting for an enthusiastic Learning Mentor to join an SEMH school in the Wimbledon area. The position will include supporting and mentoring students who are disengaged with their education and need extra care to develop their learning.

The school provides an education to students with SEMH and or additional needs and caters for students from ages 11-18. The school’s approach is Nurture based, with positive management of behaviour, using a rewards system that promotes positive outcomes. Each young person at the school has their own educational plan and timetable, so that the support received is individually tailored to their needs.

The successful Learning Mentor will need to have a flexible approach to providing an accessible and truly inclusive education that meets the complex needs of the students. As a Learning Mentor you will provide support to young people in small groups, pairs or individually as appropriate.
