The successful Candidate for the SEND Teaching Assistant  role will have previous SEND experience and be able to adjust to the various individual requirements of each student with SEND. This position is full time from Monday to Friday during school term time only. The SEND Teaching Assistant position will be on a permanent contract directly with the school, starting in September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a diverse and well organised team. The school is dedicated to meeting the vocational, behavioural, and academic needs of each student, with the mission to adapt and implement functional curricula necessary to meet the individual needs of their students. The aim is to ensure vulnerable young people are accessing full time education by focusing on their emotional development.

The Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant will possess the ability to work closely with SEND students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, so they can focus on the individual requirements of each student and help implement the school’s objective.
