The successful Teaching Assistant should have previous experience working with SEN students and be able to adapt to their individual needs. The Teaching Assistant position will be on a permanent contract directly with the school and the position will be full time from Monday to Friday during school term time only.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a diverse and well organised team of professionals. The school is dedicated to meeting the vocational, behavioural, and academic needs of each student, with the mission to adapt and implement functional curricula necessary to meet the individual needs of their students. The aim is to ensure vulnerable young people are accessing full time education by focusing on their emotional development.

The Schools Ofsted report is outstanding; therefore, there is a very high expectation from all Teaching Assistants. The Ideal Teaching Assistant will have the ability to work closely with SEN students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, in order to focus on the individual needs of each student and help implement the school’s mission.
