Are you an Outreach Tutor that is looking for an immediate start?

Are you experienced in supporting students with SEMH needs?

This school is looking for an Outreach Tutor who can mentor and deliver lessons to KS 4 and 5 students. The successful Outreach Tutor will need to be confident in ensuring the development of the necessary students with the resources provided, helping them reach their full potential. The successful Outreach Tutor must also be able to travel outside the classroom to teach on a 1:1 basis to KS4-5 students. The Outreach Tutor will also need to have excellent behaviour management skills to deal with any challenging behaviour that might arise.

This school is based in Croydon and is multi-site special school and has a track record of helping students make exceptional social, emotional, academic and behavioural progress, and with employability skills and preparation for adulthood. They provide a good platform and opportunities for their staff to grow and employ a atmosphere that is positive, driven and give intensive support.}

The position is starting immediately and we would like to hear from people with a background in learning support or teaching. Knowledge of special educational needs and social, emotional and mental health difficulties is essential.
