REC Audited Education

Education 365 has always held the highest standards of compliance and safeguarding and are proud to be awarded the REC Audited Education. The REC's award is the highest possible standard for Education recruitment companies and strongly adheres to KCSIE and has child protection and best recruitment practices at its heart.

The REC Audited Education replaced the Quality Mark (QM) in 2013, when the Department for Education (DFE) decided to discontinue the accolade.

Each candidate is required to complete an extensive vetting procedure as part of our employment checklist before they are presented to a school.

The vetting procedure:

  • Interview meetings held in person or online
  • Verification of all Qualifications
  • Passport or Photo Identification
  • Current VISA and Share Code if applicable
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Barred List Check
  • At least two professional references covering the past year
  • Birth/Marriage Certificate or proof of name change
  • Proof of National Insurance
  • Proof of Address

We are proud to be awarded a place on Lot 1 of the Government Commercial Agency (GCA) RM6376 Framework. The GCA replaces the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) framework in September 2026 and aims to provide a compliant and cost-effective recruitment solution to schools across the UK.

What does the GCA framework mean for schools?

As of September 2026, the GCA Framework RM6376 for Supply Teacher and Education Recruitment comes into effect and is expected to be further reaching than the former CCS Framework. The government has mandated that from September 2026 all single and multi-academy trusts must use the framework for the procurement of staff across their academies. The framework is accessible to all maintained schools in the UK and is expected to be widely adopted by most schools and academies.

The GCA framework was designed to give schools better value for money, ensure compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and to streamline the recruitment process. This means you can procure temporary and permanent staffing on capped and transparent rates, through a framework constructed to support compliant procurement.
