Job Description

Are you a qualified Maths Teacher with a passion for supporting young people with anxiety, autism, or social, emotional and mental health needs?

Do you have the empathy, creativity and resilience to deliver engaging, one-to-one and small-group lessons that rebuild students’ confidence and love for learning?

- Immediate start available

- Supportive leadership team

- 1:1 & online learning focus

- Fantastic professional development within a leading specialist trust

This role offers an immediate start at a therapeutic SEN school where you’ll join a supportive, inclusive team with small class sizes, strong pastoral support and excellent opportunities for professional growth.

We are seeking a qualified Maths Teacher to work with pupils aged 7–19 who have autism, anxiety and SEMH needs, many of whom have struggled to engage in mainstream education. You’ll deliver personalised Maths lessons, often one-to-one or online, helping students progress at their own pace and rebuild confidence in their learning.

Teaching across KS3 to GCSE level, you’ll create engaging lessons, build positive relationships with anxious or school-avoidant learners, and work closely with therapeutic and pastoral teams to meet each student’s EHCP targets. The role requires empathy, flexibility and a calm, encouraging approach.

Applicants should hold QTS or QTLS (or equivalent) and have experience teaching Maths to students with SEMH, ASC or anxiety-related needs. A compassionate and creative mindset is essential for supporting both academic and emotional development.

If you’re ready to make a real difference and be part of a “never give up” team that transforms young lives, apply today!
