Job Description

Are you a passionate and resilient Teacher who thrives on making a difference in the lives of young people with additional needs?

Do you have the creativity, empathy and determination to help students with autism, anxiety and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) reach their full potential?

-Immediate start available
-Supportive and inclusive school community
-Small class sizes with strong pastoral and therapeutic support
-Excellent professional development and progression opportunities

This position offers an immediate start at a specialist SEN provision that supports pupils aged 11–19 who have struggled to engage in mainstream education. You’ll join a dedicated, caring team that provides a therapeutic and structured learning environment designed to meet the individual needs of every student.

As a teacher, you’ll plan and deliver engaging lessons across core subjects such as English, Maths, Science and Humanities, helping students progress academically while developing essential life and social skills. You’ll build positive relationships, use creative approaches to re-engage learners, and work closely with pastoral and therapy teams to support emotional wellbeing and personal growth. Your calm, adaptable and nurturing approach will play a key role in helping each pupil develop confidence and independence.

QTS or QTLS is ideal, but applications are also welcomed from unqualified teachers who have relevant experience and a strong commitment to working with young people with additional needs. A compassionate mindset and dedication to inclusive education are essential.

If you’re ready to make a lasting impact in a setting that values creativity, teamwork and never giving up on a child, apply today to join this inspiring and supportive specialist environment.
