We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in the Tonbridge area. The school supports pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs, providing a structured and supportive environment where staff work collaboratively to help students develop both academically and personally.
As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with additional learning and behavioural needs. You will work closely with teaching assistants and the wider SEN team to promote engagement, positive behaviour and emotional regulation, while helping students build confidence and independence within the classroom.
To be successful, you must have strong experience working with children or young people with SEN and challenging behaviour, particularly within an SEMH environment. Strong behaviour management skills, resilience and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils are essential.
