Job Description

Are you an experienced teacher passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs?

Do you have the skills and dedication to create a structured, engaging learning environment where every student can thrive?

- Full-time, permanent SEN Teacher role starting ASAP
- Supportive specialist SEN school environment
- Competitive salary
- Excellent opportunities for professional growth

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in the Hillingdon area. The school supports primary and secondary-aged pupils with autism and severe learning difficulties, providing a structured and nurturing environment where staff work collaboratively to support both academic progress and personal development.

As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual learning needs. You will work closely with teaching assistants and the wider multidisciplinary team to promote engagement, positive behaviour and independence. The role also involves supporting pupils’ social and emotional development and maintaining a safe, consistent classroom environment.

To be successful, you should have experience working with children or young people with SEN, particularly those with autism and complex learning needs. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, adaptability and a genuine commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs are essential.

If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in SEN education, apply today and take the next step in your teaching career.
