We are recruiting for a D&T Teacher to join a new SEMH school in the Croydon area. The position will require a passionate D&T Teacher to deliver across key stages 3 and 4 and would suit either an experienced or newly qualified D&T Teacher.

This school is a unique provision following a therapeutic humanistic approach to education and childhood development. The school aims to ensure that vulnerable children stay within an educational setting or return from home education before returning to mainstream or specialist provision as quickly as possible.

The right D&T Teacher will be able to embrace the ethos that the school has created. As a D&T Teacher you will be able to teach lessons by incorporating innovative and creative ideas to suit the needs of each pupil. The well-being and academic achievement of most young people is significantly accelerated by addressing the root causes of behavioural, emotional, social difficulties, and without a focus on these areas some young people simply cannot access education. As such the successful D&T Teacher will need to have strong differentiation skills.

If you are a qualified D&T Teacher and are interested in applying, please click apply.
