We are recruiting for a Maths Teaching Assistant to join a Secondary SEMH school in the Croydon area. This Maths Teaching Assistant role is to support pupils to access the curriculum through dedicated support in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. 

This is SEMH school educates secondary age (11-19) students with emotional and behavioural difficulties and those with ASD. The aim of the Maths Teaching Assistant is to raise the pupil’s standards in Numeracy, enabling them to become independent learners.

This Maths Teaching Assistant Position is highly rewarding, as you will be responsible for helping raise student attainment and will see first-hand how the young people develop. The successful Maths Teaching Assistant will play a proactive role in positive behaviour management as well as interacting with the young people during extra-curricular times, encouraging them to participate in the academic and social life of the school.
