Position
We are recruiting
for a Maths Intervention Tutor to help raise attainment within Mathematics and
Numeracy. The Maths Intervention Tutor position will include providing Mathematics
& Numeracy Intervention to small groups and on a 1:1 basses secondary age
pupils, within an SEMH school.
This is SEMH school based in
South East London educates secondary age (11-19) students with emotional and
behavioural difficulties, as well as those with ASD. The aim is to raise the
pupils standards, enabling them to become independent learners.
The successful Maths Intervention Tutor will need to have a flexible
approach to providing an accessible and truly inclusive education that meets
the complex needs of the students. You will play a proactive role in positive
behaviour management as well as encouraging learners to engage with lessons and
activities.
